Buying
my original art
Call me or e-mail me first. I will need to be sure of your address
and other details in order to call you back with the shipping information and
pricing you will need. I want you
to be clear on all the pricing; no one likes surprises.
I use PayPal invoicing for original artwork
because each shipment price is different and I can’t standardize that.
PayPal
invoicing is really a secure way to pay. You can use any accepted credit card.
You are sent a secure e-mail with a link which takes you directly into PayPal’s
system. You do not need a PayPal account to pay this way. This is safe because I never see
your credit card information. PayPal is also easy to use.
To pay, all you need to do is the following:
Open your PayPal e-mail, read
the invoice, see the PayPal
payment button
1. Click the
payment button in the e-mail
2. This takes
you to the secure PayPal payment page
3. Review the
details of your invoice
4. Click Pay
and follow the instructions
If you want to pay by check it must be drawn from
a US bank, and I won’t be able to ship any artwork until your check clears my
bank. If you choose this (takes much longer), please mail your check with a
return receipt, so you know that I received your check and when. I will
call you as soon as I receive it and send your order as soon as possible. I
will call or send you an e-mail with the tracking information.
If you buy the original without framing- I
will ship it within seven days of receipt of
payment. The work is
shipped insured, with tracking and insurance, and because original art is one
of a kind, it must be sent with a signature
confirmation to a confirmed address in the US.
I prefer to ship my work unframed because it is much easier, much less
expensive for you and you get to choose the frame that you like.
I can ship framed only if you are not a picky person and:
1) You are willing to accept the frame that I
use on all of my work for sale; it’s a “one style” frame that goes well with my
work.
I
can provide a description and image to show you what it looks like. I use frames
with plexiglass rather than glass to prevent breakage during shipping. It will
be sent UPS, or Fed Ex, ground.
2) I
will provide you with all the tracking details and I must ship with signature
confirmation.
3) You agree that I ship within 14 days
because I need more time to get the artwork professionally framed for you.
Also, I am not a frame shop so if you want more than the frame I offer, you
should buy it un-framed. If you want it to go with your furniture, it is better to buy it unframed.
If you really want it framed,
I will send you an agreement form
by e-mail so that you have all the details of exactly the what frame will look like. After you agree to this frame, by
sending me an e-mail, I will have the framing done (I have to
pay upfront) and pass the cost onto you. All the framing prices will be clear
to you in advance.
Returns-
These haven’t happened yet. Mostly
people don’t go through all this unless they really love the work. And it looks
better when you see the original.
Damages-
This hasn’t happened yet either. I use a packaging and shipping service which
is very good and guarantees their work. If the shipment arrives to you damaged,
call me right away. This would be the fault of the shipper and I would work out
a way to return the shipment by having them pick it up if possible and I will
provide a refund to you. (It’s my problem after that.)
If you just don’t like it when you receive the
shipment, call me first. I will accept returns of undamaged work returned in original packaging
within seven days (7) of receipt of shipment. I can give you a refund minus return shipping.
Refunds- will go back through
the PayPal system, back onto your credit card, unless you paid by check. If you
paid by check, I will refund you by check as well.

you get my voice message, I’ll return your call as soon as possible, usually
the same day, unless I’m out of town.
